I just realized it's organized by series, so Khan is most definitely a Q10 derivative instead of anything new. So I feel more confident about the P9983 guess.

Which also tells me that the Classic is Q10 based, not Z30 based. But, of course, the Classic series is for Real BusinessmenTM, who only need text editing.

Yeah, that's usually how it works and why I got worried about a device to be released in November with a SoC from 2012...
A great way to save costs I guess and maybe they'll find a way to improve the internal design in order to fit a larger battery... A business device with a 8h-12h battery life is a bit limiting at times.
And it should be called the Q10.3

Slightly OT .... I have NO interest in Google Frameworks on my BlackBerry. I hope that's not what you're referring-to.

If you don't like it, don't use it. Many people do want it on their blackberries.

That was an extremely helpful comment, and ironic, considering all the company criticism that comes from you in general.

Have you considered that the very fact that Google framework isn't something you can just flip a switch on and off like that?

Yes. My point is simply that you don't need to use any apps that rely on it. You can have a Nexus device and still avoid the things that people don't like Google for. Most People want those apps and services so they accept the bad things to get the good things. This is a phenomena called "choice." Choice is generally preferable to the alternative which is "no choice."

I would prefer to have Google develop native versions of these apps but that is a choice that we will not have any time soon, unfortunately.

and so is yours, but it does not answer why should we have Google services shoved down to us and then make us "disable it", when the status quo is that there is none, although there are many who wants it?

There are a variety of google tentacles in Android that cannot be disabled without rooting the device and running a highly modified and stripped down version of Android.

And as a matter of fact, Ofutur knows this himself quite well.

10.3.0.(whatever the SDK is) should reveal more. Until then, cross your fingers for a leak.

My guess is that 10.3.1 will land with the Classic in November, as they probably don't want to optimize the Air runtime to work with the belt and then drop it in the next release.

I wonder what Hammerhead is. Probably some ancient device, or if one wants to have a laugh, BB10 on a 9860.

Haven't had time to check, but if it's new, it could be that enterprise tablet. I've heard whispering that it has a much higher screen res than that.
