i have four new notifications on my homescreen for app updates. This usually is exciting news, but when i go in to App World to check, its for apps that i have uninstalled - namely Google Talk, Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, and Whats App.
I haven't done anything to my operating system that I'm aware of recently, but the notifications just appeared today.
I also noticed that BBM Music seemed to have to re-set itself and go through the process of updating all my contacts and music. i don't know if that's related but it also happened today.
Any thoughts? i'd rather not have 4 notifications teasing me all day long.

Log into app world and make sure those apps are not still showing installed. You will see this with the option to delete them within app world. Just press delete to clear them.
i have to go into the uninstalled list to find the apps that need updating. The only option is to reinstall them. maybe i should do that and then uninstall them again.
