I was just at a Rogers Store in Sudbury and inquired about the Z30. I was met with "we don't carry that phone". I asked why and was told that it's the same as the Z10...

I was then informed that the Z30 is getting an upgrade to a quad core processor and some other changes in February.

Anyone heard about this or is this guy on glue?

I may be wrong, but I think he means the Z50.
The guy would not know the difference anyways, especially if he cannot tell the difference between the Z10 and Z30.

It seems to me that this guy has no clue. Can't blame him though. I'm sure he doesn't get asked very often about the Z30 to care. As for an upgraded version? I don't know. Sometimes those guys overhear things so you never know. It is possible that there are a few high end models coming next year. But first is a very low end model and it won't reach our shores unfortunately.

Rogers stores don't all carry z30, from my experience it looks like only select stores got inventory, otherwise you need to go online or call in to get it

I bought my Z30 from Rogers, ordered it on line, great phone. My previous phone was a Z10, and they are not the same. If you want to see it in action, check out Tellus, they have them on display.
