Is there a way to do this from the engineering screen perhaps?

Some of the apps are free. You could download ColorID. wasn't it just given away this December???

    Yes I'm aware.
BeBuzz is pretty good too, I've used it before; I'm just wondering if it's doable without having to use an app.
Doesn't seem logical that a basic color like White is unavailable but you can use Purple hehe

BlackBerry used to have this feature in 7.1.
It's one of the many things I hope to see them bring back from the old legacy os

I'm on a 9900 so on that OS. I can change the LED color but it does not include ALL the colors that you should be able to access.

I thought white was an option. Sorry it's been a while.
Yes the os choices are limited. The only way to get the full range is with an app I'm afraid

HubPlusPlus or Hub++ is a great app for all that you need and want for LED customization and profile customization. I purchased it and love it. It is also a headless app. It has held up to the price of $2.99.
HUB++ LED Disco Edition - BlackBerry World

It has a learning curve, but once set right it has helped me in knowing calls, emails, texts, BBM's all with led's!

I don't think that app is available on legacy?
