In light of the post about whatsapp on the homepage, I didn't post it before but, Digicel in Trinidad (probably entire Caribbean) is giving unlimited whatsapp with any data plan you take,
In other words, you can send any size file, use whatsapp as much as you want and not worry about your data finishing,...
Reason I'm posting? I wish they did this for BBM :"( got me feeling to download whatsapp again. I pay 120 for a 5GB 4G data plan fpr 30 days. I actually don't use it all but still, I wish.
Digicel never gave anything away for free - there's always a catch somewhere..
And they still trying to fool people into believing they have "4G" in the Caribbean,.. ha ha ha

Straight up gotta agree with this lol
Haven't seen that WhatsApp plan here in Curacao yet
Thats sucks, in indonesia you get free access to all the above apps that don't count against your quota (BBM, Whatsapp, Waze, Path, Line) plus 2GB a month for 8 dollars USA a month..

It does but what kind of economy dictates such cheap plans?

The biggest and fastest growing economy in South East Asia. Thats also the best carrier in the country. People love their chat apps in indonesia and i guess the competion among carriers is very good.

Damn that sounds nice. Here in Germany it's really expensive too.
Just wait until your economy is big enough and the state starts regulating the hell out of your TelComs though. The taxes and regulations over here are what keep the prices so high and make it impossible for new carriers to compete. :-(
