Hi all,

My BB 9780 has the famous white screen, so I thought I would buy a replace ment screen 004/111

So I placed an order for one (004/111) the company then delivered a 002/111 screen which is not what I ordered

After contacting them they state that this is a universal screen and fitts 001/111 , 002/111 and 004/111

Is there such things as uni screens, I dont want to open this and find my return policy is void

Wow, ummmmm....I can't say I've heard of universal screens. I think I would return it just to be on the safe side.

Been visiting here a few times, and finally signed up

Im not getting nowhere with the seller (on ebay) more concerned to them not refunding as they not comunicating well, just stating its universal and fitts all models
Ive asked to return now 4 times

plugging in the new screen into the fone

The screen is labelled 002/111 my fone old screen is 004/111 - from what Ive read they are different and will not work

It involves opening the seal and voiding the refund, should I get my money back

Yeah send that thing back.....its not worth it losing money on it if it doesn't work with your device. There are many other legit places u can get a replacement screen from for cheap such as amazon and ebay

From what I've read, they are not universal. If the seller isn't being cooperative then file a complaint with ebay.

dont open it and just start a dispute for a SNAD (significantly not as described), you will have to send it back tracked with a signature to ensure you get your refund

DO NOT CLOSE THE DISPUTE UNTIL YOU GET YOUR REFUND OR REPLACEMENT IN THE MAIL

also even if you open it youre entitled to return it if it doesnt work as it is faulty and not fit for purpose (i sell and buy on ebay a lot lol)

For what it's worth, the same thing happened to me - I ordered a 004/111 and got a "universal" one labeled 002/111.

In this case though the seller told me ahead of time and so I tried it and it worked with no problem, so it looks as though there are now universal screens.

HI I am Looking forward to replace my blackberry bold lcd 002/111 screen with the cheapest way. However it would be great if it is possible to repair the screen itself. Please tell me the solution. I have been through many websites like ebay, amazon, gounlock, cnn, but they all are charging atleast $50 for the new screen.
