LOL - exactly. We may very well have just made him overly excited that business might be picking up.
Some people ARE still calling Storm, Thunder. Mostly because RIM's official name for the device was Storm, which leaked. They don't like to use the actual device name as the code name (obviously) so they started calling it Thunder. So, in all fairness some websites are calling it either or, or both. There was an article about this somewhere but I forget where now.
Honestly, they are not ripping anyone off. How can anyone make a forum as good as Crackberry. We have constant updates thanks to Kevin and the rest of the staff. We have NOTHING to worry about.
I guess I don't see how they are copying. They have a round logo, that has never been done before here? Lol. Did crackberry coin the phrase crackberry? They don't have many members, looks. Like they have only been up for not quite 6 months. T I know crackberry has a lot of help because they are owned by smartphone experts which owns like 6 sites. They have money. Doesn't look like CrackBerryADDICTED.com has much money. Who knows maybe CrackBerryADDICTED.com will surprise some of you. Lol, kinda funny to, you all are saying you have nothing to worry about but you all started this thread about them.

I can see a lower volume of traffic appealing to some people. I sometimes put off visiting these forums because I know doing so will take more time than I have at the moment. The result is that next time I find time to visit, catching up with just the 3 subforums that I visit can look like an overwhelming task.
Getting a little off topic, every time I visit Crackberry and login, everything that was posted prior to my previous visit is treated as if I already read it, which is why I feel the need to catch up with EVERYTHING on each visit. Is there some setting somewhere that will allow me to login and read only what I want during that visit, but still keep track of what I haven't read so I can read it the next time?
hey all im Big J im new to crackberry.. i just went around the whole site b4 i came upon this... honestly i know about 6 people who have started some of forum and like it.. why is there hostility about this" crackberry addicted"... they are farely new from what it seems i was so curious when i came across this that i went to their site and saw hey they only been around for less than a year.. but im a member of the stack and bbforum as well as here.. i luke forums each place delivers a diff feel to the forum world.. like this place i see is neat but i have a lil complication finding things.. i gues s i got used to the other places.. i guess all that im saying is every one deserves a sho at this forum stuff.. and depends on how their team does that will say how well they do i guess..
like on the stack they have a ton of members but i feel that they are stricter this year than ever.. but still have unity amongst all.. bbforums i havent been around in a while. i left their whereabouts because of people bein rude i left there.. anyway i just wanna say cant wait to experience what this place has but lets be nicer to all other places somewhere along the line all sites some how help each other.. its the way they will survive..
I don't see why we have to see them as a competition, I thought the whole point of these forums were to give us BB users a place to learn more about these devices and meet people who share our interests. I honestly think the more forums there are, the better, because each forum provides a little something different. Even the same thread could have different points of view on different forums. I'm sure CB and PS all started from just one person. We have a nice forum here, but that doesn't mean we should look down on others, because everyone deserves a chance. I applaud the admin of that site to try to become a leader instead of joining the bandwagon
But the point is they are using "crackberry" which makes it seem they are trying to be like us. Pinstack and the others have their own unique name. As for their logo, not only is it a circle but it is also the same colors.
I don't mind having other forums. Infact I visit pinstack as well- I don't post anymore because my questions are never answered. The theme section is great tho.
I just wish this place didn't appear to be part of here.

I'm a member here and a Premium member on a few other sites. All of the sites have some aspect of what I like in a site.
Someone posted earlier about the complicated interface of this site at times and I agree with that as well as the strict atmosphere @ PS. T4BB is a fave site of mine as well; but all the above mentioned sites have been up longer and have larger member bases due to that fact.
I respect the loyalty that lies in here for the site admins and owners. That type of respect should be shown for all other forums and their members as well. Wether it be CBA, PS, T4BB, BRS etc.

I'm new here, I've been a lurker before but finally became a member. I'm a member of a few different forums, and just checked out this crackberryaddicted that this thread is about.
I don't see the issue....it seems like a pretty well put together forum, just like this one......
Is there only room for one forum out there? Personally I like to hit all of them so that I can get different info. I know which ones to go to when I need to look for something.

However why do you feel the need to put down or target crackberryaddicted.com?
There is room for more than one forum with the term "Crackberry" in it's name....the news refers to blackberrys as the "crackberry" so what does it matter it is not like they named it crackberry.net or something where I could see you getting upset....Plus the logo is not the same, it isn't the same colours, anyways, I belong to that site as well as a couple other sites, and seriously the site rocks, there are amazing people on that site as I am sure there are on this site! There really isn't a need to target people and act like a bunch of children is there?
All I know is that I joined CB.com and I am constantly reading the news articles, checking the forums to see for any new posts, and browsing through the free downloads. This is the site where I got my curent theme, wallpaper, Viigo download, and a ton of other free apps. And having the CB logo on my homescreen really helps out with getting to CB.com faster! I love crackberry.com! This is the best site for addicted BB users like myself. Keep up the good work guys!

i have deff come to realize that some sights get info faster, but what makes the site is the unity from the admins down.. when u feel like u r being spoken to by a drill sgt then it sux but all and all all sights have strick guidelines cause they have to of course.. if you have a romperroom style forum it will crash n burn terribly... anyway with that being said.. i am still impressed with cb cause it has been here for a while but still alil tuff to get around.. i always been lookin in as a guest and now decided to join up and see what the fuss is all about.. so far its cool a ton of posts but i cant seem to find what i wanna find like my last posts and what i have posted in.. u know
