I got the YouTube icon here http://forums.crackberry.com/f52/you...74/#post895611 but you also need your browser set up correctly as well, so open your browser hit menu>options>browser configuration and set Browser to: Internet Browser, then check off every box and below the boxes, set Show Images to: On WML & HTML pages, then right below that set Emulation Mode to: Blackberry. Save changes...

If you're on a BES you might not be able to access it through your companies routers. Check that ur using Internet Browser.

Ever since I updated to 4.5 I haven't been able to get youtube to work - any ideas why? My browser is set up correctly, but I get an error saying that the media is an unsupported type! Wtf?

I have my browser set up according to the above advice, but generally when I try YouTube the throughput is so slow and choppy it's nigh unwatchable. Guess them's the breaks with EDGE?

EDGE only gives you 264Kbps as a maximum download speed but the network will always give priority to voice streams over data so that during times of high networkloading, data transfer rates will suffer whilst people selfishly insist on making inane phone calls.
