I am hoping to purchase a Bold, when they are eventually released, and would like to be able to download a specific UK Ordnance Survey map, on which I could locate my current position.

I know that there are companies which offer this facility for Windows Mobile and S60 based devices, but I am not aware of any for the BlackBerry range... or to be more specific, the Bold.

Does anyone know of anything which I could use for this purpose please?

The most hopeful 'lead' I have received so far is from Viewranger (ViewRanger : Off-road Topographic Map Navigation, Sports GPS, Buddy Beacon Tracking and Location-Based Content) who have advised me that "We are intending to make a Blackberry version of ViewRanger. We don't have a date for when this will be available, but hope it will be during the middle of next year."

Perhaps if they received a few more enquiries, and realised there was a decent demand for such an application then they might just move it along up the queue a bit!
