Was on a recent business trip in Europe and again noticed almost everyone has a Blackberry (alot of 9800/9810s) esp in airports, planes, tube, etc. Was also in a Vodafone shop when a mother bought her two daughters 9360s on contract after looking at the competition.

So, while Android, with all their manufacturers, is clearly up, RIM is holding its own and extending its lead over Apple. I see this continuing over the next few months as the new phones gain traction. View in Europe is clearly different from negative media view of the US.

(not enough posts to insert the link to the Guardian.co.uk (Oct 31) article showing RIM market share at about 23 to Apple's 18.5 for 12 week period to 3rd Oct...)

Yeah, I'm sure Apple won't see any gain at all as a result of the phone they just launched.
