UI and BB
Having played with the Z10 its my personal opinion that the UI is far superior to anything else on the market. Its not even close.
This UI is pure genius.
What other UI rocks? The PB. If BB10 comes to the playbook I'd hope we would largely keep some UI elements since its predominately a landscape device.
But what do I think BB really needs?
------ a Desktop UI
Anyone think BB is working on this? Anyone else think this would be a good idea?
When you dock your device how awesome would it be for a default desktop UI to be engaged and ready for use with a mouse and keyboard.
I hope they are working on it. If history is any indication BB is leagues above everyone else in UI design and implementation.

Yeah I have a feeling the tat team is still working hard. Remember all the demos? I think they worked hard on cascades and the api but only the necessities were delivered.
I would love a playbook type desktop too! I'm looking forward to BlackBerry live in Orlando in the few weeks. We'll see what they have planned. Hopefully Thor will show the tablet killer.

I almost hate to admit it, but we agree on something lol. I love the UI of the Z10 and I think with proper development it can only get better. I hope that active frame functionality gets fleshed out. For example, I think they could benefit from PB functionality of videos remaining live when minimized. It can already do that with the sound from videos, why not the picture? I hope more and more apps get added that make use of active frame optimization. It would also be nice if some third party apps get implemented into the hub. We're going to have it with Whatsapp once the update hits, so who knows what all could be available in that aspect.
