I've seen people say in their profiles (like CrackBerry.com Community Manager Kevin Michaluk :D) that they're running their Curve on the v4.3 OS.
I just checked the "About" on my Curve and it said that I was running the v4.2.2.170 of the OS.
How can I upgrade my OS from a 4.2 to a 4.3?
OS version 4.3 is not available for the Curve yet, for any BB except the models 8110, 8120, and 8130.
And 4.3 probably won't be available for the Curve...
but 4.5, yes, perhaps, one day, in the not too distant future, another galaxy, oh I do hope.
download the new os to your dm then connect your phone to your pc you can find the new os on BlackBerry

There is NO 4.3 OS available for the Curve models 83xx. None.
Desktop Manager 4.3 is available.

Yes, the 8100 will get an upgrade to the OS at some point...probably 4.5 as well.
