I need stickers for my daily business communications so what I did was I exported stickers into my WhatsApp so that I can use them with my clients.

I work in the financial services. Really good to have stickers sometimes.

It can loosen up a conversation or convey the non-verbal cues that you don't get in a text-only conversation. Some words spoken might not offend or be misunderstood, but typed out... oh my dear!

Stickers are an excellent tool for productivity and professionalism amongst Blackberry's key demographic, which is apparently the 11yr old -13yr old consumer.

Things just haven't been the same ever since I lost my Duck Dynasty stickers.

Stickers don't get in the way if you don't use them or tap on the icon.

Never use stickers with my work related BBM contacts, but use more stickers than actual words when chatting with family & friends lol

The number of contacts isn't what it used to be though.
(26 work related and 22 family & friends as contacts)

I'm not liking the new BBM either. The "sponsored" invites still appear even after I decline them. I used to be able to block all those invites and now I can't. I don't pay too much attention to the stickers, I mainly just use the Channels feature.

I found that rather intrusive and distracting. Could have kept it simple and Spartan. Just like BB10 future.
Not a fan of cartoonish stuff since, modesty blaise and willie garvin said good bye on that train to no where.

BBM is not an enterprise product. It is a consumer product first, and as such it gets consumer features. Stop complaining over nothing.

I would much rather have BlackBerry sell stickers and try to make some money than do what others such as Google and Facebook do to get their money. People forget that BlackBerry is no longer getting BIS revenue from BB10 to cover the costs of services such as BBM, Maps, BB Travel, etc. The money's got to come in from somewhere.

BBM should have been positioned against Enterprise messaging apps, but that would also require a desktop version for Mac, PC and possibly Linux. Instead we have WhatsApp without the actual users. Sad for such a great application. I wonder if there's even a product manager for BBM, and if there is, obviously his or her incentives are tied to sticker sales and not enterprise users!

Ya know, life was soooo much simpler when we only had landline phones and those cool cassette tape answering machines.
OH yeah, and dial up modems on our computers.

But knowing you spoiled brats, if you were old enough to remember those things, you probably would have complained about the busy signal.
How are you gonna manage life in the real world, if you can't manage to get over a few smileys??

You should be ashamed of yourselves!

No, no, no it's the 11-13 year old CEO of a startup company using a Leap!

That doesn't get rid of the sticker adverts they are talking about.

Yeah, I seen this today. It's extremely annoying. It's like they're trying to force us to believe the stickers are a good idea.

It's clear they've given up on BBM as well as on BB10. They're squeezing a few bucks out with stickers but not worrying at all about the effect on brand perception of their juvenile, intrusive advertising, with no opt-out settings. BBM is no longer viable for professional users as it feels the same as the other commercial messaging apps.

The product manager for BBM is obviously happy to sabotage the products future in return for a few dollars on the quarterly report. Even paying for BBM Protected doesn't stop the sticker advertising to contacts outside your company who you would like to invite to BBM. If they install it to message with you, they get bombarded too.
