Don't rant on me if this has been posted before but yesterday while waiting for the inaugaration streaming to begin the White House was running videos of "Inside The White House". When they showed a cabinet meeting they showed how everyone had to leave their phones outside. At the end of the meeting the assistant indicated how the problem was that people left without picking up their "BlackBerries" and he had to return them. Not iPhones, Androids or Smart Phones but BlackBerries.
You can see the video here

watch at 2:10 for the drop off and 5:30 for the pick up.
Of course they use the most secure method of mobile communication available. Wait until they can get their hands on BB10. RIM just has to get it into the right hands to spread the gospel.

Perhaps the US Government has more than a little bit of interest in BB10 succeeding?

Interesting, this video was from 4 years ago.

I wonder if that basket of phones would still look the same today in 2013.

You might see a few odd 9650s left, but the Exec branch has transitioned to 9930s pretty much as a whole.

Other agencies still have some old 9650s and even Curves, particularly field offices outside of HQs and DC. I haven't seen an 88xx series phone in years.

Some are from the capital, and some are from the Blackberry capital. I am sure everything is going to be fine after launch.
