    Hello

Since it's a lot faster to type short messages on a PC than on a cellphone, even with a QWERTY keyboard like on the BlackBerry, I was wondering if there are utilities that would let users type messages on Windows, send them to the Blackberry through the USB cable, and have the Blackberry send them to the cellular network?

    FWIW, I'm using Windows XPSP3 and a BlackBerry 8520.

    Thank you.

Get Google Talk. You can SMS directly from that program, and it will create a history of it on your phone.

Otherwise, I don't think there's anything out there like that. I mean, either learn how to txt faster, or just use an IM / email program on your PC.

Thanks Fubaz. I'll check those solutions. I'm located in Europe, and unless I'm mistaken, Google Talk doesn't provide free outgoing SMS/voice calls over here.
