In OS 6, is there a way to turn off the transitions when viewing a slideshow of
    saved pictures.

If there is such an option I cannot for the life of me find it but the transitions
    are massively annoying.

I am not familiar with Os6 yet. But holy moly AG if you haven't found it, it would probably be a safe bet to say it doesn't exist.

If only that were true albee. Heck, I just recently figured out how to get the
keyboard shortcuts back in the OS 6 browser. There is always stuff to learn

Haha! So tell me are you enjoying your newfound noobness. What's in your media files options? That's where they put the settings for the slideshow in Os5. All 2 of them. Lol

There is nothing there except for Slide Show Interval. The big problem with the
transitions is that invariably it does not show the entire picture.

So they made pretty transitions that aren't fast enough to enjoy the pic. Nice feature. Sounds like the only thing you can is turn the interval up, then maybe the pic will get a chance to show.
