They are saying it has an unhackable version of android on board. Did they beat BlackBerry to the punch or is this just a secure version of android that we haven't heard about? Hopefully JC and BlackBerry will come up with the real deal in the next BlackBerry device.

I'm more interested in the materials used to make it. BlackBerry should include them in future devices, especially the waterproofing.

The article reads like a fluff piece. The only thing demo'ed are home screens and the phone will be available on July 31st?

Nothing is "unhackable" best is "requires more effort to hack"..
But that just doesn't sound as catchy in advertising..

It's on the internet, so it must be true. While we're here - I have a nice bridge I would like you to take a look at. It's made from Liquid Unobtanium.
I can't believe some people really fall for this...

I don't think this will end BlackBerry in anyway. It reminds me of a Vertu or Porsche design phone or something similar.

It's a niche device, just like BlackBerry at this time. Anyways, reading the tech blogs recently, I think the Android BlackBerry could be a big deal when it's launched, especially if it features good specs.

If there's one positive thing that BlackBerry is known for in the public it is security, and maybe great keyboards. A slider running a secure Android could appeal to many.

It will probably become self-aware soon (and that's dangerous... see below)!

You have to be proven first to be even closely considered "unhackable"
