I'm trying to set up a bluetooth connection to my macbook pro from my storm2 so I can send pics to it and browse the card without connection anything. But I can't figure out why it's saying it's not connected. Please help. Thanks in advanced.

From your preferences pane on your macbook, go to bluetooth, turn it on, and hit set up new device.

From your S2, go to manage connections, set up bluetooth, make sure it is on, and select add device...if it gives you the option, set it to "Listen" instead of search.

Your MacBook should find your phone, and a code should either pop up that you need to verify on both phone and MacBook, or the MacBook will give you a code to input into the S2 to finish the connection

If you have already gotten past that stage, and the file exchange is not working, you have to actually set the S2 to "listen" for a file. To do so, go into the relevant app (like ring tones, for example) and hit BB>receive using bluetooth. Then send it from your MacBook.

Sorry if that isn't super clear. My MacBook is at home and I can't duplicate the steps I used. Let me know and I'll try to clarify.

Thanks. the second method did work but that's kinda annoying to have to do every time. And it only works with one file at a time doesn't it? Any way to actually browse the folder structure using bluetooth?

Unfortunately, yea, I think it is one file at a time, at least with that method, and that's the only method I have found that works to send via MacBook. I have tried to browse files using both my MacBook and BB, but it doesn't allow me to do so (on my MacBook, I often get "the device is not set up for this" or something similar. This feature would be ideal.

Glad that helped. I usually only use bluetooth nowadays if I have a small number of files that I want to just add (like a few new songs or ringtones, etc.) because it has been only one file at a time for me....quite annoying.

It works with multiple items if you select them but the catch is you have to continually accept them on the bb. Annoying but hey, it works. Thanks ^^. I'll upload a screencast when I can of how I send multiple ones.
