BringBackOurBlackBerrys: Why Nigerians are returning to their BBs

I found this article to be interesting. I would like think that there is 100% credibility since it's in the Nigerian Tribune. However, data plans seems to be the best with BlackBerry devices as oppose to the competition. And I agree, why would I not go to BlackBerry devices if it's giving me more for my money in many ways than one.

Thanks for the link. Interesting that data plans are more affordable for BBs. Of course they want them back! Hope this is a reputable source.

This makes me think of how carriers would want the exact opposite and stop promoting blackberry

Bad thing about this for BlackBerry is that it should read "bring back our legacy OS BlackBerrys with BIS".

I finally found a post from you I can totally and completely agree with.
    Who would have thought...

And you are correct, it's an "advantage" that is only found on BBOS.
"Advantage", because the advancements in terms of network infrastructure should make BIS pretty useless in a very forseeable time frame.

We know that BIS was exactly NO reason to keep a BBOS device in "the west".
And there is exactly NO reason to think that this won't happen in emerging markets as well.

That's because I kept that post as short as possible so you weren't able to find any words in it suitable for nitpicking.

    That might be a possibility!
But a magician should never reveal his tricks, don't you think?

    This is partly true.
The other part is that BIS has obvious shortcomings, which consumers don't want to go through nowadays.

For me, it was actually a huge win-win when I stopped using BIS.
I paid less, while having a far superior experience with my phone, when it came down to how it handled the data (faster loading speeds, less latency, etc).

It's just a question of network infrastructure, and how much it evolved.
