I travel to Mexico frequently. Can the Storm be unlocked to use a sim card purchased in Mexico/USA. I realize Verizon utilizes CMDA(?). I think there is a way to to change the network technology within the manage connections tab. Please advise. Thanks.

Yes, call Verizon and tell them you are traveling, and ask them for an unlock code, then you can use any sim card in your storm.
