    BB bold. can you transfer media from pc without having a network contract? I really just want it for a recording/playback device. Like an MP3 player.

    Should be easy. Connect by USB cable and treat as an external drive. Used a 9000 that way for a long time once.

    Be sure you put the files on the Bold in the same directory (folder) as your other music files.
