Hello!

I am a longtime Blackberry user. I, unfortunately, went to the iPhone. I have placed an ad on craigslist to do an even trade for my iPhone with a Blackberry (preferably a Bold). Low and behold, I got a response!

Someone wants to trade my their Bold 9930 (Sprint) for my iPhone 4 (Sprint). Yay! We are going to meet tomorrow evening to do the swap. I have already contacted Sprint Customer Service to find out what I/we need to do regarding the swap. I guess my question is, is there anything I need to look out for? I've never done this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many, many thanks in advance!!!

Just make sure everything works fine eg all keys on the keyboard, trackpad etc. Have fun!

Well the best way to do it would be the meet at a sprint store and make the trade there and have them switch you guys over and check the phones. Short of that you should have the guy give you the imei (serial) number ahead of time and check it with sprint to make sure the phone has not been reported lost or stolen.

Thank you all for your responses. We are going to meet in a public place. After inspecting their phone, I will call Sprint to do the swap. Hopefully, all will go well and tomorrow night, at this time, I will be a Crackberry user once again. Wish me luck!!!
