I just had a question and I'm hoping its not a dumb one, but I was at my local AT&T store yesterday and was talking to one of the guys about the Bold. And he told me that (I can't recall if it was AT&T or RIM) would accept older phones (Blackberry or not) as trade-ins and give them a $ value that would go as a discount towards the Bold. Now I think that's a great idea but idk if its true. Is there any truth to that? Could they even do that?

I had to get a new Curve the other day and they were doing a deal (through RIM) where if you bought a new Blackberry, you could send it your old one, get the value of that phone, plus $50 sent back in rebates. I think its good through November they said.

Phone must be useable out of the box. The better the condition the better chance they won't tell you it's junk and not send you anything.
