when i press my BB 9000 trackball it goes straight to my address book and types the letter L. This happens on any selection i make ie sms, directory,calender etc.
the trackball moves smoothly up and down and across the BB icons but wont allow me to open any programs.
this seems to be the only problem i am having with my BB.
Start with a battery pull to reset the processor. Just take the battery out for a few seconds, put it back and let the phone restart.
Could moisture have got into your phone? This seems to be a frequent cause of probems like this. If a battery pull doesn't fix it and moisture is still suspected, take the battery out and leave the phone to dry for 24 hours in a warm ventilated place.
