Curve 8330 was great on battery. I feel as if my Tour is losing life continually. Can this be expained? Running Google app and Google maps, Crackberry.com and Restartme only. Any advice? Using 1 wallpaper and original theme.

The Tour has a faster processor, more memory, and a higher resolution display than your 8330. All that requires more power. Add to that a first rev OS that presumably hasn't been tweaked for power management. If you are moving, Google Maps will be downloading new maps. That will keep your radio on more than otherwise. All of that will give you significantly less battery life than you had with the 8330.
