    i have a big problem (i am new to blackberry)

    yesterday I bought a new torch9800 and a new sim card at orange tunisia.

    the bb services was working perfectly

    but this night I made an OS update and wiped the bb and after that no bb service work and the bb icon near the 3G icon desapeared

    what should I do ? is there a configuration sms or something like that that my carrier should send me again ? (or I can find them myself)

    Did you try a battery pull? If not, try that first. Maybe that will resend the service books. And I think the BlackBerry icon near the 3g icon represents wifi. If the battery pull doesn't work, just call your carrier and I'm sure it can provision it or do whatever needs to be done. Don't worry, it'll get sorted. I've had this happen a couple of times, and it's always been an easy fix.

    Oddly enough, On Telus, I had a message that "Services not available" for about 4 hours last night when trying to make calls. I know calls are totally carrier related but it was odd none the less. Battery pull fixed it though.

    update the service books, and if that doesnt work, reload the OS.
