how many missed the obvious of what the OP was doing by posting that? Your petticoat is showing.....what might have been lost is the fact that the thief may have wanted to take phone, then realized that it was a BB so:
    1. It might not be that easy to break into..(in his mind the security features of BB)
    2. The gestures may have confused the **** out of him-no home buttons...(what do I press?)
    3. He definitely not a Crackberrian...

In all seriousness, OP that was a red herring move from you............. tsk tsk

It doesn't take long to wipe the phone, and then Protect is toast. Ten failed passwords, and BOOM, a free phone. (I'm not saying I would ever do that--I wouldn't.)

IMHO,.. False, NO ONE leaves a expensive device like that if they just saw it. I don't believe this. Too many people believe stories and share then others think its true. I would have picked up and turned in to the owners of property it was left at!! Click the link and read the comments, what a joke!

This is one situation in which an Apple device is more secure than a BlackBerry.

So the presence of actual human decency in a hospital is somehow a bad thing? Why do we need to assume there was someone in that waiting room with questionable morals who would actually steal the phone of a friend or family member of a patient or employee of the hospital? Not sure if a bit of faith in humanity is restored due to the kind act being showcased in the picture caption, or if it's still gone because the expectation of moral-less human nature in a hospital also being showcased. No, wait... yup... it's definitely still gone.

    Ouch.

This reminds me of that commercial where a guys is being mugged and the robber refuses to take his cell phone even though the victim is begging him to.
Why is an Android or Apple?

Why is anyone surprised? Given the totally pathetic BB10 sales figures, it is obvious that no one wants the phones. If Z30 were selling well, I'd guarantee that BBRY would have issued some sort of statement to show momentum. Instead, there's silence. In NYC, all I see are iPhone 5S/5C and Samsung commercials and ads. Zero BBRY for the Z10, Q10 or Z30.

BlackBerry is going to go the way of MySpace if they can't turn this negative sentiment towards their smartphones around.

Reminds me of story of tourist that lost his money in a hostel. He was relieved his camera was not taken. When he had the film developed, there were numerous shots of dark and hairy body parts mixed in with his vacation photos
