    I feel fortunate with my Passport that BlackBerry chose not to overdue the side bezels. Thank you!

    But other BlackBerry phones tend to have massive size bezels. Why? Look at the Z10, P'9983, Leap, etc. One of the reasons I never wanted a white Z30 was because of how it highlighted the side bezels. Why, O why?

    Star Trek aside...I have been saying that since I got my Z10. I think the bezels on all of our devices need to be shrunken enough to just allow the swipe gestures. My Z30 with minimal bezels would be absolutely awesome!!!!!!

    Yep. My first BlackBerry was the Z10, and how loved the OS but hated that device. Lol. A Z30 and Passport later, loving them even more. But, please any BlackBerry designers happening to take a look a the thread, do something with the bezels on future devices. Maybe that new slider with the Samsung screen will put an end to the massive bezel days.

    The "BBM video" image in this picture is not using the full screen. Those WOULD be *massive* side bezels if they were though!

    I believe that the technology used to embed the digitizer in the glass panel requires pretty hefty bezels to prevent breakage.

    I have always felt that having too little bezel at the bottom (like passport) hinders your typing experience. The other 3 sides should have as little bezel as possible. ( I am talking of one handed typing, if you use two hands then it's not a problem obviously..)
