I get the notifications but I do not get the immediate drop bar that allows me to fire off a message. When I tap on the BBM or text notification it opens up the application

It's where you tap the notification and how quickly you do it. I too many times end up in the app itself but if I tap it just right, a box drops down to reply, haven't exactly found perfect way to do it
