Hi I have 3 wifi phones connected to the router. I bought a laptop and am trying to connect and can't. It keeps saying wrong password. I went into the router settings and changed the password but that's just the admin password. The password itself is dotted out so I revealed that password and it doesn't work. When I connected my phones all I have to do is push a button on the router and it connects to my curve. How in the heck do I find out what the password key is? I had written it down when I first set it up and of course it doesn't work. I can connect to another open router but not my own. Thanks for any help!
Does the router have a WEP Key? The password you talk about sounds like your logging into it which wouldn't be needed to hook the laptop up. It sounds like your missing the WEP key.
