Is there a way to use 8 bit encoding in SMS?

Hi, I live in a spanish speaking country, so in almost every SMS I need to use characters such as: � � � � �. The thing is this characters only work in a USC2 or in 8 bit encoding.

My blackberry only offers me USC2 or 7 bit. Is there a way to use 8 bit? (because I the limit per page is higher than in USC2)

I have a blackberry bold 9780.

on 9780 BOLD You should also have the 8-bit option as i remember.. but just use MMS and it will solve your problem.
