    I could be wrong but I do not beleive you can delete the preloaded images.
    You can delete the sample video(s) but I dont think you can delete the pics.

    Upgrading to 4.5.0.131 or any other 4.5 OS will get rid of all preloaded vids and pics.

    What if you purchase a phone and the phone has version 4.5 on it... Does that mean no pre loaded pics will be on it therefore tieing up internla device memory?

    It is important that a new BlackBerry be impressive out of the box. The samples are there to impress the new owner.

    v4.5xx upgrade does not contain the samples, but I suspect a new devices continue to ship with the samples.

    Removing them is simple, but it does require some software support. MaxMem will do the job nicely without the need for a Windows computer.
