I'm not a bluetooth person by any means, but I am seeing the usefulness of a headset for driving. When looking through them, I see them at $15 all the way to $100, and for a casual user, will I notice an actual difference? I don't want to spend a lot of money on it because reception or wind noise is cut by .1%, if I pay the extra money for something, I want to notice a distinct difference.

Is a $75 or $100 really worth the extra money over a $30 headset? Please tell me pros and cons of each.

There is a big difference in sound quality, as well as static.

2 moderately priced units on amazon, for under 40.00 are the plantronics 510 and 520.

For the most part, don't expect to drive with you windows down, or talk in a windy situation, but the reviews (google them) on the 2 I mentioned, are given very good ratings. You can also search on them in thses forums. There are many good ones in the under 40 range.

Check out cnet - both of the aforementioned models are here...
