I really want a 9000. I don't know why. I know that my 9700 is an awesome device, and that I would be stepping "backwards" a little by using a 9000 in its place. I don't care. I want one. I am hoping to pick up a cheap used one on Craigslist sometime soon to eliminate this craving.

I know the feeling. I get that way sometimes. I'm still using my 8900 and it still works great. I had a 9000 and it was an awesome device as well. Gotta love the good ol' simple solid devices..

Since getting my Torch, I can't see myself with any other non-BB device. However, I'd like to get my hands on a Bold sometime, I've heard nothing but rave reviews about it; seems like one of BB's top devices to own. Plus I love the keyboard style on the Bold too, that's the only thing I would change about my Torch.

    Yes, the Pearl 8130.
That was the device that caught my attention.
In the end, I got the 8330 then returned that for the S1.
Here I am, with a 9650, and occasionally I use my Droid.

In BB 9000 the display really is quite amazing. Email is still king. I haven't hooked up the GPS with a service yet (am deciding between Telnav ($10 per month through AT&T) or Garmin which has a one-time $99 program specifically for Blackberries).

I was just thinking about my old 8330 the other day and how reliable that thing was. There's no way I could use it for more than a month cause lack of wifi/3G would **** me off lol. Just can't go back to a BB right now after using my Pro and Fascinate but maybe when the new line of BBs come out.

I am still kinda new to the wonderful world of blackberry but when I got my iphone I was also eying (and still today) the bold 9000. I have recently decided to try to get one off of ebay just to have one and possibly use it a little bit while I give my torch a break.

Back to using my 9000 since the trackpad on my 9700 took a dump. Replacing it didn't help so it must be a hardware problem. Don't mind using the 9000 though.

The 9000 is about to be re-issued on both CDMA and GSM models. The Montana and Dakota will be the name. 9000 users rejoice! The Bold Man Cometh.....

My 8900. Size was perfect, weight was perfect, build quality perfect. It just had a nice durable feel as well.

No squeaky keys, light leaks, tilting trackpads, etc

BlackBerry Pearl 8120. I've always loved that form factor, and the addition of the Wi-Fi (and the blue color!) made it one of my favorite BlackBerry models...

I am with ya. I love how the 9000 looks - best looking Blackberry device, in my opinion. But I feel that if I "downgraded" from my 9700 to the 9000 I'd be sadly disappointed.

Some cravings are best left cravings.

The 8330 or 8900. Back before the Curve series went to crap.
