This is my view, lets see some hardcore TAT ui on photo, video and music apps. Thats it. Or they cold add even more like how on windows 7 u can turn on and off the flourishes.

Can you please explain why Kevin got to meet with TAT First Look: How the technology behind TATs apps will be implemented on the PlayBook & made accessible to 3rd party developers! | CrackBerry.com and explicitly says First Look: How the technology behind TATs apps will be implemented on the PlayBook which includes the 2D/3D contacts and the News App shown. Can I only assume that we were lied to? Somethings got to give, and if there is no gaming changing features in BlackBerry 10, how will it take off or differentiate from IOS, Android or WP8 that's already out there? I for one am gonna be pissed if we don't see anything like this.
Take it with a grain of salt, but @BlackBerryscoop noted that TAT is adding bits and pieces of UI flourish to BB10 in newer builds. We'll see in 29 days. Can't wait!
I am hoping that those icons we are annoyed with, and other things, like an ill fitting x 10 interface, are examples of where the place holders are hiding the TAT goodness.
Wow, thanks for digging this one up - I had completely forgotten about that video. It just goes to show that RIM had extremely high hopes in terms of what they wanted to do with the PlayBook - but it is a bit disappointing that they weren't able to make it happen as they had planned. It's things like that video (posted on May 2011) that lead me to believe they severely underestimated the challenge of bringing Cascades to BB10. I believe it will be worth it in the long run - but I just hope that long term gain doesn't bring about a short term pain (through a lack of launch day magic). All eyes will be on BB10 come Jan 30 and it really does need to shine.
I think there are a lot of people out there that would feel the same...
I read this also - Fingers crossed it's true! The UX with peek, flow and the Hub seems to be getting the attention of many but the UI really needs to live up to that early promise - and I believe some TAT magic will go a long way in terms of making that happen.
That Video of all the PlayBooks doing that file sharing is exactly what I'd love to see in BB10. What other smartphone does that and it looks absolutely stunning. I love that BB10 seems very functional, but I would really like more eye candy as well :)
Jan 30th can't come fast enough :)
We need candy
