Is there anything more exciting than un-boxing a New Blackberry??????? (rhetorical question).......

I love the slow process of taking every scrap of paper out of the box, peeling back the protective film from the screen and firing up the phone for the first time.....

Then spending the next few hours.. adding email accounts... adding apps... learning the shortcuts... and the millions of things that come with a new phone.... I need to be alone when I do this.. I hate being interrupted during an un-boxing...

It has been a few months since my last un-boxing....... I had the Z10.... traded it a few months later for the Q10 and added the Z30 about 3 months ago...... I want to buy the Q5 just so I can un-box it and add it to my fleet.....

It is Friday afternoon on the East Coast of America and my productivity has ended for the week... I wish I had the Q5 to spend the weekend with... Hopefully I will have it by next Friday...

Yes. Sliding your fingers around a BlackBerry 10 smartphone is as close to a fantasy come to life for most of us mortals. Now if only someone would design a lingerie series for these sexy smartphones. ROFLMAO. Oh wait! I was being serious but got caught up in the moment. ;-)

I'm afraid the process is a chore. For me a phone is a tool not a lover. It's like getting a hammer and spending hours to make it feel just right. I greatly appreciate how much my Z30 improves my life but, unboxing is just work to be done.
Actually it is nothing like buying a new Hammer....

This is actually one of my favorite things ever. I've actually slapped away hands of over-eager sales reps who try to do this step for me.

I am about to order the Q5 from Ebay and have it shipped to me in the US..... They are all saying that the phone is "unlocked" Does that mean literally all I have to do is drop a T-Mobile or other GSM SIM in it and I am good to go?
