The reason I ask is that we moved our company off of BB about 2 years ago (because they couldn't run the routing software for our trucks) and I was hoping to bring them back at some point. We are running Galaxy 3's right now and my contract is coming up and was hoping to go back to BB

Q5 was originally intended for "emerging markets" but was quickly available in North America - I assume the same will be for the Z3, the version with the LTE antenna.

When you say North America... do you mean just Canada or the USA also?

Seeing that America is now an emerging market I don't see why not :-)

    Hi.
Are you aware of the recent incentive offered by t-mobile to trade in older BlackBerry models for significant savings on new model BlackBerries? Search this forum or in the news section.

BTW North America includes Mexico, USA and Canada ;-)

Do you plan to utilize the bbm Glympse feature for your truck tracking?

    Good Luck.

With the number of Z10's out there offered by the carriers free on contract, or available outright pretty cheap, it essentially is the 'low end' BB10 device for North America.

I see that I can buy the Q5 Brand New Unlocked on Ebay for about $250 to $300.... I could just go that route and throw a T-Mobile or one of the other SIM's into it...

Be careful! Ask them if it's the SQR100-1 model and not the SQR100-3 model. (I ordered mine without knowing.) The SQR100-3 model doesn't have 4G and will only operate on T-Mobile's HSPA+ network only if it's on the re-farmed 1900mhz spectrum.
