if you're getting paid to Tweet, then it may not be a bad idea.
are you getting any sponsors on your site? 30,000 tweets is a lot.
but if that's not the case, then a break from Twitter is a good move
all this so called social networking stuff is way out of hand. ive tried facebook & why do I care that Sally is walking her dog? Or Kara is playing with her nephew?? If its that important please just call me. I am currently trying Twitter & I might actually find some use for it because the few people I follow also provide links to subjects I like. There is a good book called The Dumbing Down of America. I highly suggest it for some of the "social networking" addicts
I hardly every Tweet. I get them, I read them, I follow a few...CX, Salomondrin....but that's it. I don't tweet myself.
I'm not that fascinating. No one needs to know that I've finished flossing my teeth.
However.....I am a Facebook addict. Especially the checking in thingie. It's fun checking in somewhere and having your friends commenting on it....like letting me know to stay away from the Caesar Salad at the Olive Garden while I was in L.A. last week. And they let me know that I was very close to Cavalia, so I could actually get tickets.
