On the blackberry tour, Is there a way to extend the text space larger than 160 characters? Or do I have to send a continuation text? New to this...Thanks

You can try a 3rd party app such as Beyond160 or Textender. Either will do what you want.

2) There are 2 apps I know of. One is Textender the other is Beyond160

Remember that your recipient's phone (or their carrier), might not allow the message to go through (or cut it off).
