    Hi all

Apologies for the odd title to this, here's what I'm looking for (I've tried searching the forums already but can't find anything).

I'm due for a phone upgrade and have hundreds of texts between me and my girlfriend stored on the phone. Call me a nostalgic old fool but these 18 months of texts actually represent a kind of diary of our relationship and I'd like to keep the for posterity.

Now, I know I can back them up via Desktop Manager (but not read them) or I can email them individually (which would take 10,000 years) but I'm wondering if there's some neat little tool that will export them all, still ordered by date, into a nice little text file. Like a diary.

Surely I'm not the first person to want to do this! Any thoughts anyone?

    Many thanks for reading

You can back them up with BlackBerry Desktop Manager and then use an IPD reader to read and print them on the computer.

Thanks so much for the reply. Can you recommend an IPD reader for Mac? I'm trying ipddump but it won't open.

I don't think there are any IPD readers for Macs.

Not sure about that. You will need to search for that to see if there are any.

Otherwise, just get access to a Windows based computer to do it.
