OK I get how to put someone's BB PIN into their contacts info. But to do the free text message using the PIN, (on the BB Storm 9530) I go to Compose Message...PIN (I assume) and then it seems like it wants me to type the PIN in there, but I'd rather just choose the Contact somehow...and can't figure that part out.
edit their contact info, scroll down and fill in their PIN, save contact.
then to send them a PIN message as opposed to an SMS, just goto their name in your contacts list. hover over their name, BB menu button, scroll down to "PIN ContactsName" and your set. durrrrrrrrr
ive got 8520 so not sure if its same but its dead easy on mine
go to compose pin.
Where it says enter contact/pin just start typing the contacts name. ie start typing jo.....
Find john (who is the one you have stored the pin number in his contact details for example) and click his name.
fill in text you want to send.
NB - If the contact you select doesnt have a pin saved in their contacts then it wont let you select them, if they do have a pin saved in their details, it will!!!!
Probably made that sound more complicated than it is but hope it helps.
