Is there a way to have your phone notify you by sound and vibration a second and third time after the first notification if you miss it? Other than the led light? Other phones do a reminder notification, does the blackberry?

Yes you can set reminder alerts for every 10, 30, 60 sec or 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 minutes.

You can also change how long the phone vibrates

BerryBuzz is very much worth the price. You can set different LED alerts for SMS, BBM, Individual E-mail accounts, Calendar, Twitter, Facebook. Its helpful when you see you have an alert and you know before turning the phone backon what kind of alert you have and whether you can ignore it or not.
