    i have a PlayBook and i called t mobile to lower my data plan i was not using 5gb so i moved down to 2gb but i was told if i did so i would be charged the operator kept talking about how she gets charged with her ipad and i would get charged also with my PlayBook i spoke of the bridge capability and she still said the same thing BUT with bridge i will not get charged right ?

    Actually, bridge is very much like tethering, only the carrier doesn't see the data used by the PB when bridged. It's like the term hacking, which most agree is the same as jailbreaking, dingleberrying, etc. AT&T has classified bridge as another form of tethering.

    It is technically tethering but carriers can not detect it and to my knowledge, ATT is the only carrier that makes it difficult to do so.
