Sorry, I am a newb to this, I am considering a BB, and one of my reasons is to use it for tethering for my home computer. When you use the BB as a modem are you limited to what can be done, or does it do everything a standard internet connection does?

    Thanks

You are not limited to what u can do but you do have a 5gb limit when u tether. Its fine just be cautious of your use. Enjoy.

Tethering is just using your phone as a modem. Depending upon the plan that you have, BBInternet will allow you to access the Internet though the BB, but at slower speed than you would get by phone or cable access. Don't forget you are going through a wireless connection not a wire.
Check with your service provider: ATT charges for tether, while TM does not.
