Telus just announce that they've partnered up with Skype to bring Skype to all of their smartphones. You can make Skype calls through either the Telus network or via Wifi and minutes will be available in 3 options, $5, $10, or $20. Not sure what they include or how they work but anything that happens on skype like usage, minutes ect. will be bill to on your Telus bill.

Here is the link to the article: TELUS & Skype Team Up | TheCellularGuru

Obviously this is good news for Telus customers but what do you guys think this would mean for other Canadian carriers. Could this mean carrier exclusive like what Verizon did in the states?

Further down in the requirements, it states you need IOS 4, or Android 2.1+ to use. No Blackberry love here.
