    I have a question for all TELUS blackberry owners that have a TELUS blackberry with WIFI capabilities WITH a data plan.

    I've spoken with 5 other people that are having the same problem and asking other members check this.

    Does your Blackberry App World work on Wifi only?

    Scenario 1: Turn off mobile network with wifi on, try to access app world.
    - Do you get the following error: We cannot connect you to Blackberry App World. Please ensure that your device is connected to the wireless network and try again.

    Scenario 2 is trickier but a major pain as I fall into this category:
    Have mobile network on and wifi on but go to a dead zone for your wireless network (no signal), try app world do you get the same error as scenario 1?

    I have tried contacting Rim and all I got back was that you need to have a data plan with your service provider even though I tell them I do they can't help and refer me to TELUS. I've tested with a Rogers blackberry and works fine.
