I'm currently on AT&T with an 8310....thinking about switching to Verizon and getting a Storm....was just wondering: Is Verizon's version of Navigator the same as AT&T's? By that I mean are they both basically branded versions of the Telenav software? I love AT&T's version and am hoping that if I switch to Verizon I will be able to get the same basic program. Thanks!

I absolutely hate Verizon's VZ Navigator! And with some plans its not even included so you're paying $10/month for a crappy app.

I have Att Nav on my work phone and VZ Nav on my Storm. They are both very good. How can anyone say one is really better than the other? Let's be realistic guys. If ATT Nav is so much better, what makes it better? They are also the same price. In my opinion, they are both must have apps, just depending on which carrier you are on.

VZ Nav does cost - about $10.00/month

Although, maybe you should check it out - there was discussion that Verizon would NOT be blocking the gps on the new Storm.

Yes, I know GPS is NOT blocked on blackberry maps. It works fine, and shows me that the gps is working.
