I was working for a company from Colorado. They did not supply a suitable phone for company use, and were using the T Mobile network. I purchased a Curve for use on that network at a T Mobile store. When I told the clerk I was going to use the chip from phone I had been supplied to access the company number etc. He told me he would be keeping the SIM chip the new BB phone came with.
Is this normal or a common practice?
I am not working for that same company and now need a sim card and they tell me they wont re issue the card I feel I paid for?
If they had of gave you the sim it probably would of been tied to your previous employers number. Rogers won't give you a sim unless it's assigned to a number on their network.
