I don't know when exactly the upgrade took place, but I just noticed it recently when I read that you might have to rearnd your service-books in order to see the changes.
Well, what can I say, you all know what changed so just give it a try.
I at least am happily downloading attachments and enjoying native html-mails (which works only if the message was downloaded after the new service-books were added, otherwise it looks terrible [like before])
