    Hey, I'm new to the Blackberry experience...pleased so far...and this is my first post.

    I had a similar problem to many with no 'Personal E-Mail Setup' icon on my Curve(nor Browser icon). Went through all of the hoops...BIS account creation, sending service books, registering device, etc. to no avail.

    Finaly logged into AT&T account, clicked on 'Tech Support Chat', and within 10 minutes, I was receiving e-mail on both Hotmail and Blackberry accounts and my Browser icon showed up as well. He said that I had some problems on 'the back end', whatever that means, but a quick and easy solution none the less.
